"Verdi’s monumental work is a fitting tribute for this much loved concert hall. Of operatic proportions, this great piece is full of drama, lyricism and Italian spirit. With the Conservatoire's premier orchestra and chorus under the baton of one of the UK's leading Verdian conductors, this special final concert and BBC Radio 3 live broadcast promises to deliver a celebration of the magnitude that the Adrian Boult Hall deserves and a compelling nod to the Conservatoire's exciting future."
